Totnes & Bridgetown Regatta 2008
The Exmouth MSC4+ of Sam Malloy, Chris Long, Rob Williams and Jack Pearce were in for a tough ride this weekend having entered the Senior C & B fours which both involved qualifying for the final! The boys raced 5 times, one after another for the first 2 hours of the regatta. With the Senior B final being the last of the 5, which proved to be a small waste of time since they were exausted by this point!!
The boys placed 3rd in both the MSC4 & MSB4 finals.
Success came from Jack and Charlie winning the J182x over Dartmouth with a comfortable distance!
Mike Drew also won his Men\'s Vet 1x race over Derrick Rickard from Plymouth.
Lorris and Harry Hayward put in a spirited effort in the J162x and got a bit wet in the process!!
