Exmouth Rowing Club is a friendly and unique club, which encourages both recreational and competitive rowing. Rowing is a fantastic form of exercise, which works out every area of the body. As well as working on all-round body strength, it provides a great cardiovascular workout. Exmouth RC is perfectly suited for all ages, with our youngest members around 13 years old - up to our eldest of 70+.

Predominantly for training sessions, ERC row in stable 220kg Offshore rowing boats, these allow for new members to quickly and easily learn the rowing technique, as well as providing great resistance training. For members wishing to take rowing to the next level, Exmouth RC regularly participate in both River races (Olympic style rowing), and Offshore rowing races.

If you want to come down and give it a try, then come along to our clubhouse behind the Lifeboat Station by the Harbour View Cafe on Exmouth seafront. Club Hours: Sundays 10am-12pm, Tuesdays 6pm-8pm, Thursdays 6pm-8pm. During the winter months evening training is off the water on indoor rowing machines.

When you arrive, you will need to complete a New starter form (please bring it along if you have already printed and completed it) then one of our qualified coaches will give you an introduction to rowing and get you started on the rowing machine. Before and during your first few times in the boat you will be helped every step of the way! Joining Exmouth Rowing Club is an inexpensive form of fitness and entertainment.

Safety is of paramount importance to us as a club. Please see the Safety tab for all our safety policies and procedures.
