Just a word of thanks to all our visitors for braving the elements at the weekend for the 8K.  Hope you all had a wild time.

From our point of view,  the day was a big success.  We survived the weather,  didn’t kill any one,  and managed – thanks partly to you guys – to collect over a thousand pounds.  Hunger is a major fund-raiser.

This is a still-evolving event,  with new elements added each year,  and we’re keen to listen to feedback about what worked and what didn’t.  Was the on-road marshalling and parking OK?  How did you find arrangements on the beach?  Didn’t you just love our starting flags (and klaxon)?  How about the eats (and drinks)?  And how did the overnight campers get by under all that rain? 

So,  in the spirit of the lamb roast,  do let us know your thoughts.
